This 1880s-era Victorian farmhouse presented an unusual challenge: more than tripling the size of an 1,800-square-foot home while maintaining its 19th-century character. Throughout the process, we took great care in sustaining an ideal balance between old and new. More than 4,000 additional square feet of modern living space was integrated with period-specific moldings and other detail, all custom made in our in-house millwork shop. Exterior siding and trim, along with the roof, were replaced with modern, weather-resistant materials that replicate and fully preserve the structure’s inherently classic style.
